Media and Communication Studies Major. Currently looking for internships and full-time employment.

About me

I’m newly graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in Media and Communications Studies. I’m currently looking for work in social media, marketing, event coordination, and related fields. I have a passion for my two biggest hobbies: gaming and music.

Work

I spent most of my undergraduate focused on classwork and applying to internships. Recently, I have been volunteering with the UofWA E-sports club on campus, where I work on community outreach and social media posts. I have previously worked on data entry projects at Bellevue College and worked a summer as a construction worker.

My Projects

01

Now, You’re Under Control is a double-album liner that was created for Politics and Popular Music under directions from Dr. Susan Harewood at the University of Washington. The project contains nearly seventy pages of lyrics and analysis of songs that exemplify how politics influence music.

02

This project explores the deeply complex issues surrounding the rights of the disembodied mind. This project highlights both creative and academic writing as it is formatted as an open letter from a commission addressing the President of the United States in order to guide their principles in regards to the ‘disembodied mind.’

03

Gentrification of Ballard is a photo series that I shot and edited for a photojournalism class. The photo album attempts to highlight the new buildings and the stark contrast between “old Ballard” and “new Ballard” and shows how gentrification affects the people living in those areas.

The Autobiographical Sketch was a short written assignment that I completed that looks into my past both as a student and as a person and showcases my growth as an individual. I feel that this writing is deeply personal and should be included in here because it is a reflection on myself and a much more open-ended style of writing.
